Nokia  has just announced the their new flagship, but this time is low end feature phone that is meant to be a flagship, It’s Nokia Asha 501.

Nokia Asha 501Nokia Asha 501 is feature phone that has ability of multitasking like Meego system operation.  Luckily it said that this Asha platform is exactly a new update of the Nokia’s Meego OS that was once set in Nokia N9, and the platform is named "New Asha Platform" With this platform the new Nokia Asha 501 will have “sweep” screen feature just like in Nokia N9 and also “fastlane”.

Nokia Asha 501 has good specifications  of the hardware, Nokia Asha 501 is powered by 1GHz CPU with 512MB of RAM, with this spec it seems that Nokia Asha 501 could handle many process and task. For taking picture and making some videos Nokia Asha 501 has weapon 3.2MP camera with no LED flash inside.
About connectivity unfortunately is not supported by 3G network, but it doesn’t be bad else because Nokia Asha 501 also has WiFi, and supports dual SIM GSM GSM.

Update : Steve Elop has denied that this Asha 501 will be as Nokia's flagship for low end phone.
